The exact address is Viale Miramare 247, location Barcola, Trieste. 3.5 km from the railway station, just 2.5 km from the junction to the Castello di Miramare. It is halfway the seaside pine forest near the Tamoil petrol station where you can park free and safely on both sides of the street, as well on the back driveway where just in Summer time is
allowed only to the residents. You have to climb the stairs behind the station petrol bar to the paralel street to viale Miramare; you pass through the UNLOCKED gate and you get to the street number 247 and its tranquility (the last of the three former fishermens' small houses). Inside you will feel yourself at home and you'll find everything you need to have a good time. Barcola, "the beach of Trieste" is extremely good served not only in Summer, the city center is just ten minutes away by bus 6 and 36 whose stops are few meters from the flat, or you can choose to take the boat Delfino Verde from the little harbour. If you wish you can cross the street with your slippers and hang your towel under the pine trees' shade or in the sun of the waterfront and find refreshment in the sea. There are bars, restaurants, supermarkets, greengrocers, newspaperskiosk, tobacco shops, pharmacy and ATM in this neighbourbood. It's recommended a short visit to Carso plateau (follow the "frasche" here called "osmize") and to Muggia, the istro-venetian seaside town.
